One day treks in Asia suggestions?

Im planning a vacation in Asia. I still havent picked a location but I know that Id like it to be on the ocean, to be surrounded with fertile vegetation and rich nightlife. Im also interested in one day treks. What can you suggest me? How much does it cost? Maybe I should just take the whole package and go for a ten-day trekking expedition.

There are various options. Since you want rich nightlife and good beaches Id suggest you Thailand or Bali. These two places are like paradise. Dont let those tsunami dangers frighten you. There are some instruments that can predict tsunamis some time in advance, and now its a bit safer than it used to be when that disaster occurred few years ago. As for trekking you can hit the road wherever you are, and I dont suggest you a ten-day trekking trip because you might find it a bit boring and that can also be exhausting. I suppose that wherever you go there are one-day trekking trips organized, and you just have to ask your tour operator about that.
