| Its such a shame that Im visiting Calgary during the summer. Im not saying that the city itself isnt beautiful, but it is primarily a winter destination, especially because of the Olympic Park. But, since Im already here I want to see as much as possible, no matter if its out of the season. Is Olympic Park in Calgary worth the ride? |

| Its not like Calgarians hibernate during the summer, you know! There are traces of life after the snow melts and people do continue living. Olympic Park in Calgary isnt gathering dust when theres no snow. Quite the opposite, the summer season has its own highlights. It is originally designed as a winter sports facility, but later it has expanded the range of activities it offers. So, in the summertime mountain biking is very popular there, and ski lifts are used for bike transport. As you can see its not a dead season. Moreover, lovers of extreme sports are delighted to learn that there are bungee jump trampolines and free climbing rocks! So, its actually a must-visit place! |
