| I won a prize contest and got 12 days in Nova Scotia! Im happy about the prize, of course, but I dont really know anything about that region. I imagine its rocky and rugged like Scotland. Its always great to see new countries and learn something about their customs and Im looking forward to doing it. So, where to go and what to see during these 12 days? |

| Nova Scotia is located in the southeastern Canada and you are partially right about its landscape. It is surrounded by Atlantic Ocean so it has a long boatbuilding tradition and thus, its most famous museums are Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. I presume that youll be staying in Halifax with occasional visits to other parts of the region. Another tourist landmark of the city is the Halifax Citadel which is considered to be one of the most important symbols of Canadian nationhood. Naturally, besides these indoor activities there are numerous exciting outdoor pleasures, such as paddling along the Northumberland Strait which is considered to be the place with warmest waters in Canada or just go hiking through countys breathtaking natural beauties. |
