Nightlife in Calcutta

Hello, guys. I have a trip to India next week. I will be mostly situated in Calcutta. The thing that interests me is nightlife in Calcutta. What can I expect there? I have never been in that part of the world, so I am curious to know before I depart. What are your experiences? Thanks in advance.

Hello to you too. I must admit that Calcuttas nightlife isnt bad. I was there last year and I was surprised. As far as I know, the nightlife has been evolving since 1990. If you look for bars, then there are mainly around Park Street. Clubs are not bad. You can hear there Western music, but also Hindi pop. Clubs and other places dont have strict policies with dress code. But many Hindis are dressed to show off. There is even an Irish bar called Dublin. There is live music in place called Someplace Else. Tantra and Roxy are bars with an interesting atmosphere. I hope you will have a great time. Bye!
