Neuschwanstein Castle from a fairy tale?

I heard so much about the Neuschwanstein Castle, people say it is being just like it was copied from some kind of fairy tale! Is that true? I am going to Germany to be specific in Munich this year, so I am thinking to put this castle on my list. Should I?

Oh for sure you must see it. It was built on the top of Bavarian Alps by emperor Ludwig II in rococo style, so yes looks like fairy tale one. But one thing must be cleared out, not a copy of Disney version of castles, more likely that old Walt was inspired by Ludwigs creation. Being close to the Munich allows you take a nice walk to reach its gate or even better ride a horse to get the complete fairy tail feeling.
