Need advice on Lima hotels

Hi to you all. I am going to Peru with my boyfriend this year and we will be staying in Lima. I am now hoping to find a nice hotel for the two of us over there. Ir doesn't have to be the Hyatt, but something that will make us feel as if were are really on holiday would be nice.

How about the Hotel Continental perhaps? It is an OK mid range place, but I am afraid that the Peruvian capital hasn't got the kind of luxury hotels that some other cities do. You will be quite fine over there though - the location is good and the staff are friendly. And the rooms are clean, of course
