Need Sumo tickets

Hi, there. I will be in Japan in three weeks. While I am there, I was thinking of going to some match of Sumo wrestling. It would be interesting to see. I was hoping to find out how I can get the tickets. I hear it isnt the easiest thing to do. I hope youll provide me with some helpful information. Thanks in advance. Bye!

Hi to you too. Youve hear well it isnt easy to purchase tickets for Sumo wrestling. Especially if it is tournament going on, it is almost impossible. First if you try booking online, it is all in Japanese and you cant understand a word. I tried once with a phone number, but I was supposed to speak Japanese. I suggest you to ask a concierge at the hotel where you are staying. Let him buy you the tickets. On weekend it is always crowded, so is for the holidays. You should have more luck for the weekdays. I hope youll manage to buy them. Good luck!
