Mergui Archipelago Myanmar with 800 islands

Hello. I won a seven-day free cruise around Mergui Archipelago. The only thing I know about that place is that its situated near Burma and that it consists of almost 800 islands. Can anyone tell me about its landmarks or tourist attractions? Are there any rare animal species or something like that? Thanx in advance.

Well, my sister went to Thailand last year, and she visited several islands form this archipelago during a diving trip. As far as I can remember, she mentioned something like diving with sharks and underwater caves. Also, these islands seem to me a bit isolated and unpopulated, so I guess its a great place if you want to escape from the burdens of civilization and relax completely. But if youre addicted to clubbing and that stuff Im afraid youll be disappointed.
