Hello! I am planning on going to Nouakchott pretty soon and I actually need some Mauritanian visa info. I am an US citizen so what are actually Mauritanian visa regulations that I am supposed to fill out. I mean do I need searching for Mauritanian visa at all? Thanks much!

You haven’t mentioned why are you visiting Mauritania whether it is business or a tourist trip but despite this I guess the Mauritanian visa regulations are about to be the same for both cases. Anyway you need visa and a valid passport of course and the visa is actually required as the proof of yellow fever vaccination. I remember I was also asked to provide 3 photos of passport size as well as 2 signed complicated applications. Anyway if you are about to get a tourist visa than you should also provide a return ticket as well as some funds sufficient proofs.
