I would like to go to Charleston in South Carolina this year and this will be my first trip to this town so I would like to hear from you what I should visit while I am there. I also would like to read what are your impressions about this city and where did you stay while you were there. As you can see I just have a thought and wish to go there and not much packed with useful facts, so please do help.
Charleston is very artistic town, meaning it was a home of all kinds of artists. First Americans museum was built in year 1773 in this town, plainly named the Charleston Museum. The fact that there are many churches in towns area gave it another name - the holy city, so try to see some of them. You should not miss seeing Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon. If you like to do some shopping then could visit Old City market and King Street. When I was there I stayed in The French Quarter Inn which is located in the center of this town. It is nice charming place with really comfy rooms and pleasant stuff.
