I have been planning to go on a holiday this summer. It seems to me that it is a good idea to go to Amsterdam, It seems like a really good and attractive choice. However, I was also thinking of going to Paris on a side trip. If anyone could tell me whether the idea is good or not, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Paris is one of the most amazing cities in Europe. I can easily say it is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited, and I have been to many. There are plenty of things to be seen and done. Nightlife is also excellent and there are several very good clubs you can visit. Also, the food there is excellent, and somewhat unique, although you have, of course, a lot of restaurants that serve meals of various cuisines. The most valuable aspect about Paris is its architecture. You might spend ten days just strolling around and enjoy its beauty. However, since it is a side trip, you will not manage to see much, but you will certainly have a lot of good time there.
