Im going to Quebec. I decided to visit Magdalene Islands. My friend watched a short documentary about these islands and was fascinated with their beauty. I dont know how much money I should bring along. Are the prices high? We booked a hotel bed & breakfast option, but will have to find some restaurants for lunch and dinner. The problem is that I am a vegetarian.

The Islands are gorgeous. Many years ago it was impossible to reach them in winter because the water froze and the boats could not go. Now ice breakers are used to enable transport from the islands to the mainland. The beaches are made of white sand. The Islands comprise nine big and a number of small islands. Since their main activity is fishing, the most famous specialty of their restaurants is seafood casserole and bagosse their beer. However, there are plenty of fast food restaurants for those who are not crazy about regional recipes. I dont remember I saw special vegetarian restaurants but I believe they can cook something for you on request.
