In my hotel in Rome I was told that they could organize transfer of my luggage from there to Naples, where I would be going next. This is the first time somebody offered me a service like that and I dont know if I should take it. What would you do in my place? Do you think this service is safe? I dont want my luggage to be lost.

I think I would accept it. There is nothing better then to travel light as a feather and carefree. It would be foolish to insist of taking your own stuff. Of course there are a couple of things we have to get straight here. First of all, what kind of a hotel are you staying at? If you are in one of those 5-star hotels then accept it. I am sure you paid enough to have them carry you on your hands to your next place of stay. On the other hand, if you have little baggage, then maybe you want to keep it close to you. If you think about this, I am sure you will make your decision more easily.
