Luggage late with Lufthansa! What are my options?

Dear all! Please help me! I have a serious problem. Ever since I have become a frequent flyer my biggest fear has been that this would one day happen to me. Maybe that is also the reason it finally DID HAPPEN, who knows? I have flown with Lufthansa to a destination relatively far away and they have lost my luggage. They did find it in the end but I have still not gotten it back. This is a big pain as I have many of my favourite things in that suitcase. What are my options?

Either wait patiently until it finally does arrive, or hassle them every day and get a nice bit of compensation out of it. Lets say, a few free lights. My sister always gets the most out of every tricky situation, and I am starting to learn from that! If you dont ask, you dont get If you are frequently flying with them, I am sure they will do a lot in order not to loose you as a good customer!
