| I went to Italy two weeks ago and returned yesterday. The problem is when I got back my baggage was gone. It simply didn’t arrive with me. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find my baggage check. So, it appears that I lost both baggage check and baggage. What shall I do? |

| It is not a pleasant situation. You have to report it to the airport authorities right away. It would be wise if you have or make the list of all the things you had in your luggage together with the detailed description of your suitcases. That is all you can do. You have to wait long enough and your baggage will pop up from somewhere. The same thing happened to my cousin and after few weeks he got notice from the airport that his luggage was found in India! He wasn’t traveling anywhere near India so how his baggage ended up there remained a mystery. Nevertheless he finally came into possession of his things. |

This happened to me too. I had 2000 Deutch marks in my bags and I waited two weeks to get my bag back. Those were very frustrating 2 weeks of my life. If your bags are over 48 hours late, you can go shopping and get yourself some new things. Keep the bills and the airline company will have to give you the money back. I didn't know this when it happened to me |
