Looking for cheap accommodation in The Valle de Elqui?

I have heard that The Valle de Elqui is a perfect place for studying stars, and as I am kind of interested in this activity , I would really like to visit this Chilean destination. I am already coming to Chile on vacation, and this would make my trip even better. Where could I find a cheap accommodation?
