| I understand your concern about choosing a decent neighborhood because last time I was in Rio, I got robbed at the broad daylight in the street near downtown. But, that can happen anywhere I guess. It wont prevent me from going to Rio again next year. There are many agencies that rent apartments. The prices vary from 25 USD per day to over 100 USD. But I guess that you can bargain a bit since youd rent it for two months. It would also be great if you could find two or three people to come along with you so that you can share the rent and expenses. Id suggest you to rent an apartment facing Copacabana and Sugar Loaf. Gringo Management apartment has all necessary commodities, such as TV, DVD, microwave oven and from the window you can see the beach. |
