| Hello people, I need quick replies, since I need to decide whether I should book the room in Velas Vallarta resort or not, since I'm offered a price that can't be easily refused. I'm traveling with my wife, two 15 and 17 yr old girls and my wife's sister with her son. I wouldn't like to be blamed for the accomodation I chose, and my wife left me to decide. You surely understand the urgency of this matter, so please help! |

| Not all rooms have ocean view, so that if you can choose, ask for one with the view. I was there three years ago, I heard that some changes have been done since then, some rooms were remodelled or something.Only that it was a bit tiring cathing a taxi every day in order to go to the city centre. I got an idea that this type of hotels, 5-star, all-inclusive, away from the city, is chosen by people with little children so that it is easily to have control over them or those who need a rest so that lying by the pool, drinking juice the whole day, and not interested in all the things Puerto Vallarta has to offer is enough for them . I don't belong to any of these two groups, so next time I'm going to look for a hotel closer to all the city sights. I can't complain about the food, it was delicious. Everything is very clean, rooms, restaurants, pool. The surrounding is extraordinary. So, will you book or not depends on what you're interested in. |
