| Hi, Im going to do the famous weekend in Amsterdam! So, what should I see and where should I stay? Perhaps there is someone who recently went, or even better, someone from Amsterdam, who can tell me what the sights are, apart from the obvious? And how about some tips for good restaurants? Thanks people! |

| Hi, I was in Amsterdam already two years ago but I had a really great time and am hoping to go again soon! The city is really full of energy, and the people are great too. The attractions are the Anne Frank house, of course van Gogh and Rembrandt museums, and lots more. If you like shopping the PC Hooftstraat is the street with all the designer clothes and for all the high street chains the Kalverstraat is the place to be. On the Zeedijk you will find lots of little restaurants which are not too outrageously priced. That should be enough for now, I think, please ask if theres anything else you would like to know. |
