Learning about the beautiful nature of Mauritius

I am going to go on a group tour to Mauritius in three months. I am really looking forward to the trip and I am going to be learning all about the beautiful nature of Mauritius! The trip will last two weeks in all. Who has been there before me and do you have any tips?

Oh my God, Mauritius! I have been wanted to go there for such a long time now! Only everyone is always telling me that it is so, so ridiculously expensive over there that I have been scared off a bit! But you should never stop dreaming, right? And how much did you pay for your trip if I can ask?
