My family and I plan to visit Italy. Weve been there for several times, but only have visited Italian cities like Rome, Venice, Milan and Florence. We want to make this trip a little different and to visit some Italian lakes. Weve heard very good things about nature there. We just dont know where to start our voyage and if well have enough time to visit more than one lake. I know that Lake Como is the most popular, but can you recommend us another one? What about Lake Garda? Thanks for all of your replies.

Hello, there. Ive been in Italy so many times that I will begin to consider myself as Italian. Im just kidding. Italians wouldnt agree with me, Im sure. Well, lots of people have that dilemma: Lake Garda or Lake Como. I say both. Lake Como is wilder, it has picturesque scenery, and you are surrounded by mountains, trees and birds Lake Garda is more crowded and with lots of tourists. Nevertheless, the north part of Lake Garda is wilder and it is near the Venice-Milan train road. But if you like tourist crowd, then the rest of Garda will suit for you. There is a town Sirmione on the Lake Garda that you can pay a visit. I cant make up my mind and give a vote, but if I was forced to do so, I would choose Lake Como. I dont like to bump into the tourists. Cheers.
