I have just arrived in Dakar from Mauritania but its night. And I need help! I am traveling along the cost of West Africa and now I am in trouble for I am not managing to find some cheap place to stay for the night here in Dakar so I would greatly appreciate any info on this, please help! Thanks much!

There are many budget hotels in Dakar but I happened once to book the room over the internet there in Hotel "Les Mamelles" and I suppose you are now at the center of Dakar and if so you need only about 15 to 20 min to reach this hotel. Anyway there you may choose between different opt involving booking a single room –I had this opt –at a price of about 35 $ but you may also reserve some room with few beds and with shared bathroom at the lowest price there I don't think it costs more than 20$. Anyway this is the only cheap accommodation in Dakar I know for.
