I will be stopping over in Moscow for two days only, before going on to Central Asia. Thank God I have my visa and stuff all sorted out. I will be staying with a friend of mine who lives there, so I dont have to worry about accommodation either. My only concern is how to best fill the time and see as much as I can. All your tips are welcome.
It is too clich to mention really, but here goes The Red Square and Kremlin are very impressive and you must go and see them. The Cathedral of Assumption is the oldest church in Moscow and stunning on the inside. Dont miss it. Vavarka Steet in Moscow it the oldest street, and taking a walk through it will give you an idea of what life was like there before the modern era arrived.
