| I have recently been to Italy. I have visited Tuscany and Liguria. I did not want to bring too much money with me, not to spend a lot of it on hotel rooms. However, I paid the price in that I have got some very uncomfortable beds. I was very disappointed. I mean, I could expect little rooms, lesser, or no meals, but never such a thing. Did anyone have some similar experience? Thanks for sharing. |

| Italy is really beautiful country. I have always enjoyed in my holidays there and would always like to come back. However, I know exactly what you are talking about. It seems to me that certain hotels can be really unfair in terms of giving such uncomfortable beds. On the other hand, it maybe not the case that the beds are uncomfortable on purpose. They are simply cheaper, and you cannot expect too much luxury for very small prices. If you was not used to such sleeping, like I was not at first too, it is not a surprise you could not sleep well. However, if you try hard enough, you can get used to it, and then you will not even realize the beds are uncomfortable. I hope you will have better luck on your next visit. |
