Can somebody tell me if there is a night train from Rome to Florence and how long is the journey? I’ll be in Rome next month and I think that the most economical way is to travel by train. Do they have trains every day? Is there a web site that I can consult?

The last train that leaves from Rome to Florence leaves at about 22.30-23.00, I think that it is regular, i.e. that you can take it every day of the week. The journey itself doesn’t last long, at max 3 hours. I don’t know the web site, but I’m sure you can Google it, train is “treno” in Italian, maybe that will help you a bit.
