| My friend is working in India as an English teacher in a village near Delhi and I finally decided to go see him. It was not such an easy decision, especially when my girlfriend had completely different plans for this summer, but this is something that I have promised to do, and that was three years ago. I live in San Francisco so I need to know is there a direct flight from San Francisco to India? |

| I could say that you have good options now, since Air India has direct flights, starting July this year. Unfortunately, I think there will be only one flight in a month or two, and I am not so sure about San Francisco, I think that direct flights with this airline will start next year from your town. Of course, you could always fly with Delta, Continental and American, these airlines have had direct flights for a long time. |
