| Hello. My name is Dragan and I am traveling to Budapest soon. I will be staying there for a longer time, more than six months, and since I am not very wealthy I will need every penny. I think I will rarely have enough time to prepare meals myself, and I heard that like everywhere else street food is the cheapest way to ease your hunger. I am aware that this diet is not healthy, but does anyone know if it is safe? |

| Hi there Dragan! From the bottom of my heart I hope that you are not serious about basing your diet primarilly on street food! I am aware you said you will have a lot of obligations, and not enough time to prepare food, but...come on! You can always grab a bannana or an apple instead of unhelathy and greasy slice of pizza they sell on the streets. As for it being safe or not it is better now, since Hungary has become a part of the EU, because they control the street vendors often. There are some small cheap restauraunts in centre with decent meals offered, but since there are so many meals that you can prepare yourself for a short while, I still think it would be a best solution. |
