. I will go to Thailand in three weeks, and if everything goes by the plan, I should spend there two weeks at least. I have heard that this country is a real heaven for shoppers, and I plan to enjoy shopping, too, but I would like to know if shopping is better in Bangkok or in Pattaya, in order not to spend my money in the wrong place.

Well, my advice would be not to focus on one place only, but to do some shopping in Pattaya first, and then spend the rest of your money in Bangkok. It is a well known fact that Pattaya is also a real paradise for those who like to go shopping, but it is also much cheaper than Bangkok; so, why not use that advantage?
