Hi there! I heard you can see some Northern Lights in Alaska. What sort of lights are those? Are they worth seeing? I should go to Alaska in January, my uncle lives in Fairbanks so he is planning to take me on a let-it-be-northern-light tour. What am I to expect? I would really love to see something spectacular! What do you say?

Hi! Northern Lights or Polar Lights or Aurora Borealis are the same thing. It is the phenomenon that aperies northern of 61 degrees north latitude. You can see the lights in various colors, and night viewing is memorable and spectacular adventure. Fairbanks is excellent place for this, because the nights are loner there and the colors are brighter.
