My friends want to go to Playa del Carmen this year. We like to relax and enjoy everything good resort can offer. Apart from being party animals we also like to swim, dive and snorkel during day (you have to fill your time with something between two parties). Is it safe to swim in the ocean at Playa del Carmen?

Oh yes, it is safe. It is very nice there, too. Playa del Carmen is famous for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. Many tourists are fond of cenotes, underwater caverns. Playa del Carmen is famous for them. So you can enjoy sea in Playa as much as you want like thousands of other tourists and visitors do all the time.
