Is easy to find Akbil kiosk in center of Istanbul?

I am going to Istanbul next week with my boyfriend. We are very happy because of this trip since we planned it for so long. However, we are a bit worried about getting around, as the city is quite large and there are many interesting things to see in most parts. I heard about akbil system but I am not sure how it works and where can we buy akbils. Any information on this would be appreciated.

Hello there! I envy you so much! Istanbul is wonderful city, and amazing experience, especially if you go there for the first time. Transportation system in Istanbul is very easy to grasp, and trust me, you won’t have any problems getting around. Akbil is an electronic button which is used for all sort of public transport and you can buy it near every station, city center included. Have a nice time!
