I was thinking of spending my next holiday in Bangkok, but a few days ago a friend of mine told me that Pattaya is much cheaper than Bangkok for spending a holiday, and that I can practically spend two weeks in Pattaya for one week in Bangkok. Is there anyone who could tell me if this is true, because if it is, then I guess it is better to go to Pattaya instead?

It is true that Pattaya is somewhat cheaper than Bangkok, but I don’t think it is that cheaper. It would basically mean that everything in Bangkok is twice expensive as in Pattaya, which I, to be honest, doubt it is true. If you want to save some money, maybe you should organize your holiday so that you spend half of it in Bangkok, and half of it in Pattaya. Have you thought of that?
