Hello there! I have a son who is 20 years old and I’d like to invite him to accompany my husband and me on trip to Mazatlan, but I reckon that he will be interested to know what attractions this city offers. To cut the long story short, I’d appreciate if you could tell me whether this city is interesting for younger people.

I’m not sure if I can provide you with the right and precise answer to this question. This Mexican city is situated opposite of the southern part of Baja California. It is an important port and there are numerous beautiful beaches but I suppose that what you wanted to ask is whether there are night clubs and discos. I’m sure that there must be at least a couple of such places, but to be honest I don’t think that this city is considered to be like those wild, partying-all-night cities like Cancun or Acapulco. But it has its own, unique charm and I think that both the old and young can have a great time there.
