Hi! I’m traveling to Prague and my wife would like us to stay at Mandarin Oriental. We stayed at this hotel in Hong Kong and we were satisfied with the service. I’m sure it is one of the best Hong Kong hotels. Mandarin oriental hotels are spread all over the world but there are only four of them in Europe. We wanted to stay at this hotel in Paris, but there is no Mandarin Oriental there. One of the cities in which this hotel group has a hotel is Prague and we heard that it is a renovated monastery, is it?

Yes, it is. It was not built on the place where there was a monastery once, but the monastery itself was turned into one of the most beautiful hotels in Prague. Mala Strana in which this hotel lies is the oldest of all quarters. The hotel is surrounded by many historic monuments. The hotel preserved the beauty of the monastery and it really looks like some beautiful church from the outside. The original building has been saved. However, the interior is different – it is luxurous and doesn’t remind me of a monastery. However, the spa center of the hotel was a former chapel. The menu of the restaurant includes a monastery meal.
