I’m going to Liverpool. I visited Great Britain twice but London was my primary destination both times. I wasn’t thinking of visiting some other city. All I wanted to see apart from London, was beautiful English countryside. Now I realize that I made a mistake by not visiting Liverpool. I heard it’s European capital of culture. Can you tell me more about it?

Britain is a beautiful country and you shouldn’t see England only. You should also see other parts of UK – Wales and Scotland as well as Northern Island. Each of these parts is specific and each has something others lack. I agree that London is a universe unto itself but Liverpool is worth seeing, too. Liverpool is undoubtedly the center of culture and history. There are a lot of art galleries and museums. This city is also known for promoting modern art. However, what you mentioned seems to be the name of the festival that is being held annually in Liverpool. It is the celebration of everything done during the previous year not only concerning art and culture but sports, too.
