Is Kuwait safe for a young woman to travel alone?

Hi, people. I have to manage some affairs in Kuwait. Unfortunately, my colleague got sick and I have to travel alone now. I am afraid a little bit. Ive never been in Kuwait and I dont know whether Kuwait is safe for a young woman to travel alone. What are your opinions? Would you recommend me traveling alone there? Thanks for your help.

Well, I dont know how to advise you. It would be great if you could postpone your trip while your colleague recovers. I think that it isnt safe enough for a young woman to travel alone to Kuwait. In Muslim countries they have different rules for women than in Western countries. I was horrified by a story where I heard that about 20 young men had broken into apartment of a woman who had lived there alone and had raped her more than 10 hours. It happened in Kuwait. If you must go, then dont wear short skirts or sleeveless T-shirts. Dont show your expensive jewelry if you have one. Its better to know the customs of the country when you travel there.
