Hi, there. Ill be spending my spring break in Italy. Ive never been to Europe and I am thrilled that Italy will be the first country that Ill be visiting on this continent. I just wonder whether drinking water is safe there. Ive heard that in most of European countries people use bottled water. Is Italy an exception?

Hello, my friend. You are right; Italy is definitely an exception when its coming to drink water. Italian government pays a lot of attention to regulations that consider drink water. You can drink there tap water. In cafes they use tap water to prepare your cappuccino or your coffee. People fill their bottles with water from fountains. I used that water and I didnt get any disease. I can tell you to drink water freely; in Italy it has an excellent quality. It isnt the case in some other European countries. But that topic well discuss some other time.
