| Well, I think that Brazil is not a particularly safe country. I don’t know anything precise to tell you about traveling through it by car, but I know about various cases of kidnapping in Rio. People a re advised to carry only small amounts of money so that they can have something to give to robbers if they ask, and still not to have all the money they brought with them. As for Brazil roads I really don’t think they’re much safer. I’m not saying that it’s like in Mad Max, but measures of safety are needed for sure. My advice is to either take a plane or to travel only along main roads and highways. Avoid shortcuts and don’t travel on your own. |
