Is 2 Days in Cairo enough?

Hello my online friends! My boyfriend and I spend the week in Egypt for a holiday last year, and we really liked it although we felt that we didn't have at all enough time to see all the things that are interesting over there. Now we want to come back, and stay longer. We are now planning our itinerary and I am wondering whether two days in Cairo is enough?

Ideally, I think you should be spending around three or four days in Cairo as there is plenty to see and do over there. Go to Ancient Egypt museum where they have many relics from the period of the Pharaohs. Go and enjoy the many markets of the city, and eat in some nice restaurant. The inner city centre is very much worth a look!
