Inspiration cruise disappointment

I have booked a cruising trip with Carnival cruise and I will be cruising with my wife 7 Nights departing from Tampa with Carnival Inspiration. And the thing is that all the info I get before I booked this cruise regarding Carnival line were just so positive but it happens lately that one of my colleagues went on the cruise with Carnival Inspiration about 2 months ago and he is very disappointed with this cruise.

I also went on cruising trip with the Carnival Inspiration and though I could not lament on anything special for everything was quite ok, the ship is good and in perfect condition I loved swimming an that pool and the stuff is very kind and the bed in cabin was so comfortable and I enjoyed each night almost in perfectly organized entertainment program. But still there is another side to it-I was pretty much disappointed with the meals though table service was perfect the food was so unattractive and I thought that Carnival Inspiration is where I would get the best lobster ever but I ended up so disappointed. Also there is another thing upon receiving that trips brochure I though that we will be staying at ports much longer than it actually happened.
