Info on Hua Hin and Luang Prabang

In order to decide where to spend my holiday, I need some information on Hua Hin and Luang Prabang. I know that these two are completely different, but Id like to see them both, but I dont have enough money and time. I cant decide whether to spend a traditional laid back vacation on the beach or go into a historical and cultural exploration.

I wouldnt think for a moment more if I were you. Go to Thailand and have some fun. Hua Hin is one of the oldest tourist resorts in Thailand and it was discovered long before its popular beaches. Its a kind of an old-fashioned resort and what may be important to you is that this resort has very low prices. It also has great golf courses and possibilities for various water sports. Unlike other resorts frequented usually by European and American tourists, here both foreign and local tourists come to spend their vacations. I know that Luang Prabang is under UNESCOs protection and is considered world heritage, but for some reason its not my cup of tea. Too much history is not what I want to see when Im on a vacation, just sea, sand and palm trees.
