Hi,
I have decided to take a trip in a couple of months. I will be visiting Syria and I have recently heard that there is fantastic place in Syria called Maaloula and there are some Christian caves from antiquity. I would really love to see that. Does anyone know anything else on this site?

Hey
I have lived in Syria for over one year and I really had great experiences from there. I was studying Arabic and introducing my self to Islam. Damascus is very old city and there are many antique places to witness. I have been to Maaloula, which in Aramaic means "entrance". It is the part of Syria where many still speak Aramaic. The place is really great and the churches have that strange smell of God's presence if you know what I mean. Really as if Jesus is still there watchin from his manger.
