I want to Volunteer in India, but don't know how?

Ive seen a documentary about India today and it deeply moved me. Its such a beautiful country, full of contrasts. On one side there are exotic holiday resorts and on the other impoverished people that live below the level of existential minimum in isolated villages. So, I want to apply to volunteer there, and I need information about the possibilities so Id be grateful if someone can tell me more about it.

It is so wonderful to read something like this! It brings me back hope that our civilization is not lost yet. India is a unique country and in my opinion one of the best ways to get to know it better is through this kind of work. You can find out everything you need to know by contacting some of the organizations that organize programs for volunteering, and there are plenty of them. Or maybe, ask in Embassy of India in your country. Good luck!
