| Hi! I will be on honeymoon with my husband in Rome for next two weeks. Can you suggest us some hotel, not too expensive, somewhere in wider center of Rome. I don't mind if hotel is not renovated, I need pleasant staff, clean and bright room and time just for us. Please, I ask for advice only from people how were there, I can find info about hotel on the net! |

| You are looking for someplace romantic where you can have long, slow..... eh... breakfasts, for instance... in your room of course. I fully understand. After all, I have been married three times. I found the hotel Campo de' Fiori to be everything you need for a good... time. Nice room, discrete balcony's and friendly staff. Do be careful though, as they come and clean your room quite early on. Enjoy! |

Elite Hotel in Rome is best. I have been there last year.
Me and my girlfriend stayed in Rome towards the end of March for 2 nights. The location of the hotel is amazing, we walked from the train station to the hotel without trouble; it was just down the road from the spanish steps and a 2 min walk from the trevi fountain.
Our room was small with a window that only looked out onto the back entrance to more buildithe furnature was basic but the airconditiong was very good. But You don't need any thing more from a room in Rome - just somewhere to sleep and this hotel did the job.
The staff were friendly and helpful and we could leave our luggage in a secure room as we had a late flight. However, there was no safety deposit box in the room - luckily enough we didnt have any problems with safety.
The breakfast was as expected with cakes and pasteries but it was fresh and very nice.
I would recommend this hotel to couples (can't judge for families as we only has a double room) but you cannot avoid the steps so not for young children or older people. |
