Hello. Ive just retired and since I have a plenty of free time, Ive decided to travel a bit. Im not interested in some fancy resorts. I like quiet places where I can see and learn something from our past. Thats why I picked Hudson Valley. Can you tell me something more about its attractions and tours organized there? Thanks.

Hudson River Valley is recognized as National Heritage Area and it has historical and cultural importance. You can even create your own itinerary according to your interests or you can choose form already arranged itineraries, such as American Revolution or Architecture. Or, for example, you can go on a tour Lighthouses of the Hudson River. If you like wine, there is also a tour that will guide you through famous Hudson River wineries. There you can sample various wines and buy the one you like. There are also various museums and even festivals! What I would suggest you is Shakespeare on the Hudson. Its an open air festival which takes place during summer.
