| Greetings, friend. Ive been living in Dhaka for 7 years. Well, believe it or not, it is a city of 14 million people. So it is understatement when you say that the traffic is crowded. I would say that in some part of the day, you can see chaos on the street. Fortunately, you can easily hire a bike in Bangladesh. They are not expensive. Be sure that you get a bike with a bell, so you can use it on the street when you get into the crowd. Also it isnt a big problem if you tire gets a hole. There are many workshops on the streets of Dhaka where you can repair it. When you buy a bike, be sure to check it good, because each one can vary from the other. Best of luck and maybe well meet when you move to Dhaka. |
