| My friend and I decided to go to Jamaica this summer. Actually, we have been deciding this for the past 3 years but never had a chance (read: money) to go. Anyway, we thought a lot about how we would explore the place, wherever we go. We thought of public transportation, but I do not think that it would be much helpful. How safe is to rent a car in Jamaica? I think that in this way we could see and experience much more than with bus. |

| The first thing you should know about Jamaica is that people drive on the left side of the road there, much like in UK. So, you will have to adjust to that for the time you spend there. Second, it is still an undeveloped country, so you might expect that its infrastructure is not on the highest level, including roads. You have to take extra precautions! And yes, you could avoid going between June and November (hurricane season). |
