How much for a cab ride from ORD to Downtown?

I will be heading to Chicago again next month, it seems that I succeeded in persuading our boss to start a branch there. We deal with sports gear and clothes so I will be carrying a lot of bags and suitcases. So, what I need to know is how much for a cab ride from ORD to downtown?

I am not so sure, but I think that the prices went up in last several months, so it would be around 35 dollars. Perhaps you should call the taxi service and ask for a minivan, which would solve your suitcases problem. Still, if you have the money, I guess that the best thing would be to rent a car that would suit your need for those couple of days you would be in Chicago.
