How many days to spend in Dolomites and Lugano?

My parents are going to Dolomites and they are going to spend some time in Lugano, also. They are planning to stay there 3-5 days and I wanted to give them some suggestions regarding, first of all, the length of their sojourn. I think that 3-5 day is too short. Does anybody have some suggestions about how many days to spend there?

I agree with you that 3-5 days is too short, but it depends also on how many days they have on disposal. That part of Europe is beautiful and as far as I’m concerned the ideal holiday there should not be shorter than 10 days. But 3-5 days is better than not going there at all.
