Hi, Im hoping someone can quickly tell me how long it takes to get to Venice airport from the centre of town. Its urgent as I need to book my ticket. But Im not really sure if this is worth doing recently Ive heard many horror stories about airports used by budget airlines being in the middle of nowhere, and I dont want to be duped by that! Thanks

The quickest way is by waterbus and this takes about an hour. Some of the routes take a bit longer, but it is worth doing as it is very beautiful there. It seems more like a guided tour than a ride to your hotel. You wont regret it. The only thing is, there is a bit of a walk from the dock to the airport terminal, so keep this in mind.
